Demonstration Data Licence Agreement

 

Please read and return one signed copy of this licence to the address below to accept the conditions for use of The GeoInformation Group demonstration data, listed below.

This agreement must be signed and returned to The GeoInformation Group before any data will be dispatched.

 

Demonstration Data Licence Agreement

Loading this data constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the licence agreement set out below:

  • The demonstration data provided to you is for evaluation purposes only and for a time limited period of 60 days.  The expiry date of this time limited period is set out at the foot of this agreement.

  • On reaching the end of the demonstration period, you the user, agree to either:

    Delete all occurrences of the demonstration data from your systems, including any reports, screen extracts, derived data and hard copies, unless otherwise agreed in writing with The GeoInformation Group.  Return all media supplied to you under this agreement, or destroy the media supplied and inform The GeoInformation Group that you have done this.

    Or purchase an annual demonstration licence to continue use of the demonstration data and all derived material, reports etc.

  • The demonstration data cannot be sold, rented, loaned, leased, or passed on to any other third party, including subcontractors without the express permission in writing of The GeoInformation Group.

  • Should it be subsequently found that you have used in any way data supplied beyond the consent of this licence you will be immediately liable for a fee of 3 x’s the annual licence fee for the data you have been provided with.

  • The undersigned company is the only party licenced to evaluate the data provided under the conditions of this licence.

  • Reviews or tests of the demonstration data will not be published, or made external to the undersigned party, without the prior written consent of The GeoInformation Group.

  • The demonstration data will not be used for commercial purposes.  You may use the demonstration data to test whether the product is suitable for your intended application, but you may not implement that application.

  • The GeoInformation Group does not give any warranty that the demonstration data is fit or suitable for any particular use or purpose, whether or not such use or purpose is made known to The GeoInformation Group beforehand.

  • The GeoInformation Group has taken care that the data is as free from error as reasonably practicable, however The GeoInformation Group does not give any warranty in this regard.

  • The GeoInformation Group does not take any responsibility for any consequential damage however it may arise from the use of the demonstration data.

  • The GeoInformation Group reserves the right to change, alter or modify the version of the demonstration data it makes available.

  • The GeoInformation Group reserve the right to withdraw this demonstration agreement at any time.
